Next Board Meeting: Thursday October 1, 3-5 pm at the Bay Club
As your Village Council prepares for our 2026 Annual Meeting, we look forward to welcoming 6 new volunteer members to the Council! We’ll also be saying farewell to one current board member who will still serve our community as a valued committee member. As detailed in the charter that governs our activities as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving the residents of the Port Ludlow Master Planned Resort, our mandate is to Preserve, Protect, and Promote the interests of our residents while serving as a Unifying force to build consensus among residents, business owners, property owners, and others having an interest in our Village in the Woods by the Bay.
It has been a very busy year, as we successfully delivered the following activities:
Held Town halls on Cell Tower, County Candidate Forum, Emergency Preparedness & OWSI
Recruited Volunteer and Activities Coordinators
Added 250+ new subscribers to our eBlast list
Updated the Policy and Procedure Manual
Completed and dedicated the Larry G Scott Memorial Trail
Designated Port Ludlow as a “Destination Hiking Village”
Hosted a Yard Sale, Holiday Tree Lighting, Canine Costume Contest & participated in the Friday Market
Held roadside and beach clean-up events
Created online video Radio Operator and Block Captain training modules
The outcomes we delivered this past year were only possible because of the amazing efforts of our volunteer council, committees, and community members who collectively invested thousands of hours to make Port Ludlow a better place to live, along with the financial support provided by your donations that sustain the activities of the Council.
Although our overall financial condition has been stable this past year, we are nonetheless still completely dependent upon your donations to fund our activities in the year ahead. Last year, we received generous financial support from approximately 10% of our homeowners in the MPR. We are grateful for that support, and hope that you will continue to do so for the coming year. We trust that with the results we have delivered this past year, we will find additional financial support from even more of our residents.
We will conduct our Annual Meeting at the Bay Club on October 1st from 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM. That meeting will provide a more detailed review of our activities in the past year, honor our hundreds of volunteers and offer a glimpse of Village Council plans for the year ahead. Light appetizers and beverages will be served at a reception immediately following the meeting. We look forward to seeing you there to welcome our new board members and have a chat about anything that is on your mind regarding our Village in the Woods by the Bay.
